Biocomputing Platforms Ltd Oy offers data management systems for genetic research studies with support for microsatellite genotype, SNP, haplotype, pedigree and phenotype data. Due to the underlying IBM DB2 SQL database, the system can handle very large data amounts. The system includes connections to commonly-used genotyping/SNP instruments and user interfaces for popular genetic analysis software including quality checks, linkage/QTL, TDT, haplotype and association. Input files for these programs are automatically generated eliminating tedious manual editing.
